Spanish Finance & Business Translation
Essentially Spanish can assist with business-specific Spanish to English translation.
I have a background in business management, with 16 years spent in the area of finance, so my specialised fields of translation are in finance and business.
I have a depth of financial research experience, including 7 years in management.
I used my Spanish for many years in a financial research/software company in London, which specialised in Capital Markets, becoming Global Loans Research Manager. I also held the role of Research Manager at a private equity/venture capital research company. Prior to this I worked for a Mexican bank in the City for two years, which gave me valuable experience in Mexican Spanish.
Later I worked for an independent financial adviser and passed my ‘Certificate in Financial Administration’ through the Chartered Insurance Institute, broadening my knowledge of the financial services industry.
I have also passed the Business Unit of the CIoL’s Diploma in Translation exam.
In all of my corporate work accuracy and an eye for detail were essential.
Some of the documents I have translated to date include: bank statements, accounts, contracts, auditor’s reports, insurance policy documents, minutes of meetings, employment reference letters and questionnaires. I have also completed two financial translations for the London School of Economics.
